When a Storm Is Forecast

Evacuation and Return
- Leave promptly if ordered to evacuate.

- Do not drive around barricades or through floodwater.
- Return only when local officials say it is safe.
- Photograph damage before cleanup if it is safe to do so.
- Avoid downed lines, unstable trees, floodwater, and damaged structures.
