Before Winter Weather
- Follow official weather, road, and local emergency updates.
- Weather-strip or block obvious drafts where practical.
- Know where blankets, warm clothing, hats, gloves, and socks are stored.
- Prepare safe lighting and charging options.
- Store water and simple food that does not require cooking.
- Review medication, medical-device, baby, pet, and access-need plans.

- Keep pets indoors or sheltered from cold, ice, and wind.
